Yes Vita fans Square Enix has FINALLY come back to the Vita with Adventures Of Mana or Final Fantasy Adventure or Sword Of Mana. While not as many remakes as Final Fantasy IV it is in 2nd place maybe but a good soild remake landed on mobile and got to say on vita it is quite fun and brings back the old school charm. You play as Sumo who starts in an arena daily battling for survival while later your friend dies. Pretty soon after learning a way out you take it and in short get attacked by the Dark Lord and so begins your journey. When Adventure came out on GameBoy it was sort of hidden as a Final Fantasy title along with the Legend series(....sighhhhhh Legend 3) though it was named in Japan differently by the correct name I believe.
Mana series isn't as big as Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest but the series still has alot of fun out of it and I been a Mana fan for awhile but it has been a long time so going into this took some getting use to with map layout befause most of the time getting lost is easy in this game and also easy in dungeons. You meet alot of guest charafters along the way with one being Fuji the seed of the Mana Tree which is why everyone is out to get her because only she knows where it's at so expect backstabbing and a long journey. You will get a soild 10 hours out of the game which is soild for being what it was on back in the day and the upgraded graphics look pretty decent and there are alot of Final Fantasy nods like chocobos and mogs for example.
Items can be an issue throughout the game. you will need keys which can be bought at the shop and items to break cracks in the walls though later on you get the moonstar which breaks the cracks saving inventory space for other items. the UI is sort of like Zelda with it showing your current equiped weapon and item or spell and it works. The game is plays really soild and loads up quick with no issues. For the price this is a great game and glade Square Enix is bafk on Vita. RPG fans and Mana fans couldn't be happier. So go buy this and enjoy so old school action RPG goodness.
