iOS users don't have a Animal Crossing game to play but developer Stolen Couch Games have changed that with the recent release of Castaway Paradise. It's not a full "AC like game" at least not yet but maybe updates will change that. One thing I don't get is when a season hits like halloween for example, the other characters aren't dressed up for the theme and kinda throws it off. Also there's no themed quest. Other than that bit, everything else is pretty fun and plays really well. There is a subscription based IAP along with the regular item based IAP which gives you items and knocks off the timers on your items but everything else is still timed. Quest are in variety but the exp given after most is pretty slim but you get a lot of items most of the time but it's just bad there's no interaction between your character and items other than the ones you use. Graphics are very bright and colorful and have a look that fits the game pretty good and there is some interaction between them though little, it's great that it's in there. There's a good bit to do on the island like planting, collecting bugs, fishing, buying stocks and adding to your wardrobe with lots of costumes. Multiplayer is coming in an update which hopefully makes the game and not break it but time will tell when it hits sometime. For a F2P game there is lots to do and yes there is waiting but here's a tip: when your out of water buy an upgrade for it and it's refilled. After the South Park episode on F2P I can say this isn't what they were talking about. There's timers as I stated but it's not too long and you can watch ads to speed things up thanks to the recent update. It's a fun game that hopefully will keep getting better and grow to be even more like AC without Nintendo coming after them. Score: 8.5 Out Of 10
