Well The US will be getting a new Final Fantasy F2P game titled Final Fantasy Record Keeper by DeNA....now before you click off just hear me out first. I believe two games got mixed up one being this and another being All The Bravest. I feel like RK is really something to marvel at for nostalgic reasons like having Cloud and Squall together while battling using the ATB system from older FF games. I think All The Bravest was a then "premeium" game hiding the fact it should have been free and was just a way to get money from people a cash grab on top of cash grab you can say.
Record Keeper is something new and actually exciting and to let you know first off is that only equipment is the thing you can get with it's extra currency but it's not premeium currency as you can't buy it but each dungeon you complete gets you one "blue crystal" you can also use them to start over after death but there's no "Gatcha system" for characters. Characters must be earned from completing dungeons or through events held weekly which does it sorta Injustice mobile style with brackets leading to a character you earn though good luck as some bosses are ridiculously hard.
You use a helper through your dungeon visits and it's one use only so plan ahead onto when you use them. Summons return but you must collect items that since I'm playing through the Japan AppStore, I don't know what they are called. I feel this is a pretty good and balanced fairly good system and should have been what All The Bravest wasn't. You can pre register though I don't see a million people doing so (which would unlock Tidus) but if you give it a shot once it comes out to the U.S. I bet you might actually like it even if it's just a little bit because trust me if you know me from Twitter you would know I hate F2P when done wrong but this is actually a good game. There is an energy system but refills quickly and collect a certain amount of orange crystals adds a point to it.
I will cover more when it launches soon but you can click here to pre register ----> www.finalfantasyrecordkeeper.com
There's a lot more to cover on gameplay but I will do it when I review it when it's in the US.
