Horror games come in all shapes like Resident Evil 1-3 or Silent Hill series while some are more "made to make you think" like Infintapgame's Neverending Nightmares. First I will say why so many damn doors in that game that it was to the point it should have been Neverending Doors. Second is thank you for the truly creepy surreal music as it always seemed to fit and reminded me of the classic Silent Hill. The game even throws Clocktower elements at you with places where you can hide from enemies at which was great. Then it added some that just keep freaking killing you over and over till they just wasn't in THAT area anymore which was odd.
The story is another odd issue for me as I get you are Thomas and Gabriel is SOMEONE to you could be sister or wife whatever the reality is but I just wasn't engaged after dying to an enemy you couldn't dodge or hide from for the 30th freaking time and seemed to lose traction after awhile. Now the details of where you are at like the house or mansion it seemed is very detailed and loved the hand drawn aspect of the game plus the other areas look even better. This is a hard game to review without spoiling it but there is more to this game and it is truly a mindfu*k of a game which is what I love but the one HUGE issue with me was the character in certain situations. For instance why does he walk like a zombie? Why does he run for 3 seconds before losing his breath? Why does he move so slow during stair scenes?
This is a short game that does make you think but also holds more issues with it that even though it is ment to be play multiple times, people will struggle to want to replay it because of certain parts making the game too much a chore to enjoy. More good things though is the jump scares are actually scary and not just Slenderman/Five Nights At Freddy's kinda jump scares and there are plenty. Overall if you need a scary game for Vita by all means pick it up. If you can handle the issues stated here maybe you can fully complete it with its multiple endings. As for others it can be a hit or miss.
