First started on iOS Mass Creation decided to bring the formula to Vita so how does it fare? Short answer is pretty good. iOS and other mobile devices are prone to endless runners hence why there are so many like Temple Runner and etc. Vita has now started this trend and it's good and bad. The good is more variety and the bad is instead of DLC, it's more IAP for impatient type if you don't want to grind. Run Like Hell doesn't break any new grounds but IAP isn't there unless you want to buy coins for skins used in endless/multiplayer modes. Graphics are cartoony 2D and work and fit well on the vita and uses buttons and not screen touching. The sound is great from jungle sounds to the bongo music throughout the game. From birds to yetis the sounds are there and sound great though the gameplay is also just as good. Uses buttons to either jump or dive under objects to outrun the natives and while fun it does get stale if played in long portions which is why it makes a great pick up and play game, just play a level or two and save for later. There is 8 areas and each level from the areas don't take long to complete. The story mode can take a good few hours to complete and luckily there is online and endless mode to continue the game. In online it's you versus other players for bragging rights to get to the finish line while dogging traps and clumping obstacles. Endless is you picking one of the 8 areas and seeing how far you get. Overall not a bad game if played in spurts or online. The game plays really good though while it doesn't offer anything new with runners, there is something fun and original in there. Score 7.0 out of 10
