Vita's most popular F2P game is a neat one with some great ideas and fun for a time waster. Developed by SCE Japan and Q Entertainment it's a mix of Pokemon and Shin Magami Tensi that released last year and it's pretty addictive. It uses your location on the globe (Americas,Japan and China) which also counts into what summons you can get. The globe is the battlefield and you free each one after facing that locations boss. Also there's a big boss that you can see if it's blinking red in which case after you beat it unlocks more friends you can have, party limit or spirits you can hold.
They also do events which can earn you some nice spirits that go from UC(uncommon) to SR(super rare). The types are C(common), UC(uncommon), R(rare) and the SR. They have emblems to earn by how many fights you win to areas you have freed which nets you orbs for merging and cost support and stones for summoning. Bosses give you a good amount so if just starting then save up. Summoning cost 300 stones for one or 3000 for 10 and don't worry 3000 is nothing to worry about as you can get that easily.
Orbs the premeium currency are given 3 times a month 30 total also 35 for free if a PS+ member. Merging is when one element reaches it's max level you need either a joker of that element: earth, metal, fire, water, wood, light and dark or the same spirit. Commons rank up once, UC ranks up twice, R ranks up three times and SR four times. Pure merge is when you use the same spirit before it reaches it's max level to increase it's stats and useful to use when it you get before the last rank because after the last max level you can't do any merge but with the update incoming you can but it's not hitting till the end of the month.
Raid events happen at least once a month and are the easiest way to collect currency but the enemies also level up so be prepared. After a certain number of bosses killed you get a prize which is either stones, orbs, jokers and a event spirit. Friends you have can help you out and also you can trade spirits with a max of 3 slots. It can be a short wait time or an incredibly long one which you can speed up with orbs but don't unless you're rolling in orbs.
Fun game and a neat time waster that has a great community on GameFaqs which is great for looking for trades.
Score 8.5 out of 10.
