Ok from all this nonsense of F2P(Free2Play) and how it's the future of gaming is really grinding my gears. Torchlight a paid game on PC is coming to iOS as F2P to be "competitive" with other F2P ARPGS which is very freaking few with it joining Dungeon Hunter franchise. To me that's not a good excuse and it seems like a "he's doing that well so am I" instead of thinking of gamers. I don't hate F2P but paid and switching to F2P is crappy practice.
Instead of trying to praise full price games we are in a time where saying you disagree with F2P gets you banned on forum sites and it's just as bad as saying fire in a theater. Not all F2P games are bad but saying "year 2020 F2P will be everywhere and the future of mobile gaming" is something I don't want and I know others don't want it that way as well. If one person likes Candy Crush that's ok and if another hates it well that should be ok too not get bitched at by "followers".
If this keeps up it's going to be a big divide on gaming as a whole. Reason why I say that is recently Halo 5 multiplayer has micro transactions and MGSV has it as well for a mode. Games like Dead Space 3 was the first big console game to feature MT in the game. Yea you can say "well I won't buy it so I'm not worried". Here is something to think about
You should be worried.
