Pinball games are something that requires skill which I lack but also requires luck. Zen Studios has once again brought out some new tables featuring: American Dad, Bob's Burgers, Family Guy and Archer with the actual cast lines to really bring it out. I'm giving a review on each table Starting with:
Bob's Burgers: This table is a pretty good starting point if you are new or maybe you just like the hit show. You have the show in all its glory with Bob, Linda, Gene, Louise and Tina making burgers and eliminating pesky rats among other task. Night and day each has its own modes of play as well. From capturing El Diablo to making Linda spray the burgers with bleach. This is the biggest table of the four with all of the day and night modes of play.
Family Guy: Another great starting table wiith the whole cast of Family Guy. Help Stewie save Rupert from certain death, make Brian question his realtionships and get his advice, have Louis take down some leafers with her fighting prowess and others. This has a Duo Mode that unlocks after beating multiple story paths like Stewie and Brian for eample with each family member getting a duo. Also wouldn't be Family Guy without Quahog News or The Clam. Though I haven't noticed Mayor Wes yet. This maybe the best table for multipliers if you got the skill.
American Dad: The last easy table is one that shows off the special effects quite a bit more than the previous tables mentioned. From shooting practice at Roger's place or ice skating with Stan and Francine it's jampacked with American Dad flair. Wheels and the legman is one you will activate the most.this table has the most extra balls you can earn in my opinon but will take some effort. Also has a skill stop which I haven't noticed but adds to the bumber score for the entire game.
Archer: The toughest table in my opinon but really is worth it once you get the hang of it. The table is smaller with more to hit which if unlucky also causes a ball out. From collecting ants for Krieger or fulfill Archer's dream of fighting on a moving train this table has the action. Danger zone opens one of three modes from shooting hitmen, navigate through a swamp over runned with alligators or deactivating explosives. The spy car has modes for itself that has its own share of action like dealing with the Yakuza. This table has the most options for a multiball mode with 3 ways to start one and also has a you collecting money called operations fund. With that you can increase the jackpot or getting an extra ball. Also as with American Dad, there is other ways of getting extra balls.
So there you have a run down on the tables. Archer is the highlight of the four but also is the hardest. Family Guy has alot with it has well but Bob's has to have the most modes with Family Guy taking 2nd. American Dad is an awesome table of its own with more effects than the others also is one of the easy tables.
Any pinball/animated show fan should nab this one. Zen keeps adding to the overall aspect of each table which can be hard to keep focus but they always have ideas on new tables. So if you don't see your table yet, just give it time.
