When you make a new studio and try something with a cult classic, it can be a huge gamble but Square Enix Montréal did exactly with big success and even making GO a series on mobile and now consoles and PC. Hitman Go takes the formula of stealth and even action to board game chess feel and it works great. Is the story there? Well sadly no but this doesn't need one but there is some nods to Blood Money and Stealth Assassin if you remember them along with an airport stage that offers a few new tricks.
Gameplay goes like this: pick a game board and a stage, look at your objectives and complete the level. Sounds easy right? Oh maybe till they introduce trap doors, dogs and even worse things than those. The game's challenge picks up on chapter 4 but it's not too hard but if you want to use a hint it will cost you a trophy. Most boards are15 levels each minus a few boards and each level has 3 objectives like collecting the briefcase. There is also "boss" levels which are take out targets which has awesome opera music and the people always wear red.
The Definitive Edition brings sharper graphics, no microtransactions and more levels. It is done well minus a few stages where the dpad didn't register directions but other than that you get 90+ levels, fast loading times, plat trophy and a one of the best looking game board games on console, PC and mobile that there is.
Score 9.5 Out Of 10
+ Hitman in a new style +Graphics got a touch up +Tons of levels
-Few stages that controls didn't respond to
?: Well we see Lara Croft Go on consoles
